Sushi Ran owners Yoshi Tome and Suzie Bucholtz announced that Sausalito Beautiful was chosen to receive a generous $5000 Award in honor of the restaurant’s 30th anniversary. According to Yoshi, the award was given in recognition of Sausalito Beautiful’s mission, its accomplishments and its promise. He noted special appreciation for Sausalito Beautiful’s positive approach to working with the City and the community in accomplishing its mission.
An innovative Sausalito Beautiful-sponsored event took place today, providing Sausalito Beautification/Improvement project leaders an opportunity to share details of projects under their leadership. The goal was for each project leader to become familiar with others’ projects and for everyone to gain a perspective on the composite visual impact the projects will have on Sausalito’s landscape. City Council members, City Staff, and community leaders were in attendance. Larry Mindel, owner of Poggio Trattoria, generously provided meeting space, coffee and pastries. Sausalito Beautiful is grateful to all who participated.
