Sausalito Beautiful confered Chris Gallagher and the Bay Model Garden the 2019 Beautification Award for Secret Garden. This much deserved award is for the new native pollinator garden, which was planted by the Marin chapter of the California Native Plant Society but was the brainchild of Chris Gallagher. The garden is filled with different wildlife habitats for song birds, hummingbirds, butterflies and bees. It’s also a great place for locals to go for inspiration in their own gardens since all the plants are identified with markers.

Presented by Sausalito Beautiful, the annual Beautification Awards acknowledge businesses and property owners who have significantly improved the aesthetics of Sausalito public spaces.
